Eileen Savinelli, PT, DPTEileen received both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University. She completed clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient pediatrics, and school settings here in New Hampshire. After graduating she completed a one-year post-professional Pediatric Physical Therapy Residency through Virginia Commonwealth University to develop expertise in the specialized field of pediatrics. She worked in several pediatric settings, including acute care and early intervention, with guidance from experienced mentors. During residency, Eileen also completed her Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) certification in the state of Virginia.

Eileen has always enjoyed teaching and mentoring others, whether it is in patient care or an academic setting. Eileen has worked as a teaching assistant, lab assistant, and guest lecturer in graduate programs with the hope of teaching as a professor someday. Eileen has experience working with children of all abilities from newborns to young adults. Her clinical interests include developmental disabilities, neurological disorders, hypermobility, chronic pain, torticollis, and infant and toddler development.

Eileen’s clinical approach is through a lens of family-centered care and the social model of disability, involving the whole family and prioritizing a child’s participation in daily life. As a certified yoga teacher, Eileen teaches yoga classes to people of all ages and incorporates the principles of yoga into her holistic approach to physical therapy.

In her free time, Eileen enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, camping, crafting, and spending time with her husband Michael, and cat Ellie.
